Apply through CSDCAS

The Council of Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders Centralized Application Service (CSDCAS) is a web-based application service used to apply to the Northwestern University Doctor of Audiology program.

Required Materials: The following application materials should be sent directly to CSDCAS.

• Transcripts from all institutions attended.
• Three letters of recommendation.

The GRE is not required for application for AuD Program. GRE scores are not seen by admission committee members and are not used in the review of any applicants.

English language proficiency: If your native language is not English, you must certify your proficiency in the English language in one of the following ways:

(1) Provide a TOEFL score meeting the following criteria.

• For TOEFL exams taken prior to January 2026 – score of 100 with sub-scores of 26 for speaking and listening
• For TOEFL exams taken January 2026 and beyond – score of 5.0 with sub-scores for speaking and listening of 5.0 or higher
• TOEFL scores must be no older than two years.

(2) Provide a IELTS score meeting the following criteria.

• A minimum overall band sore of 7.5 and minimum speaking score of 8.0
• IELTS scores must be no older than two years.

(3) Provide documentation of completion of an undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited, four-year institution or equivalent, where the official language of instruction is English.

(4) Provide documentation of completion of graduate degree from a regionally accredited institution where the official language of instruction is English.

Foreign Transcripts: Foreign Transcripts must be evaluated by an evaluation service. We recommend World Education Services, Inc. (WES).

CSDCAS Application Deadline: All application materials must be received by January 15.  It is the applicants’ responsibility to ensure that all application materials reach CSDCAS by the deadline.
